Admission Procedure

    • Application for admission is to be made in the prescribed form available at the College Office on payment of a prescribed fee. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection for admission and the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. Incomplete and ineligible applications will be rejected. The form can also be downloaded from the college website.
    • The application form duly filled in, should reach the Principal on or before the last date for submission of application form. In all subsequent enquiries the application number should be quoted.
    • The Catholic students should produce a Character Certificate from their Parish vicar. Attach copies of all the certificates with the application form (certificates in original at the time of interview) for weightage of marks.
    • If the application is favourably considered, the applicant will be called for an interview and the list will be published in the notice board. All selections are but provisional and will only be confirmed after the personal interview with the Director and Principal, scrutiny of the certificates and payment of the first installment of fees. If the candidate fails to appear for the interview at the time fixed, the seat stands cancelled.
    • At the time of interview, the applicant should produce all the certificates in original, Transfer certificate from the School/College Course and Conduct Certificate from the head of the Institution Original Mark List Passport size photograph – 4 copies

General rules

    Education, in its true sense, comprises, besides the acquisition of knowledge, the formation of an ideal character by disciplining of body, mind and soul and by developing everything that is good and beautiful in human nature. Hence, every student should aim at cultivating high and noble ideals of life and conduct. They should be gentle and refined in behavior, polite and courteous in manners and neat and modest in dress and conduct.

    • Rules of modesty, cleanliness and decorum should be strictly adhered to by all the students of St. Mary’s. Half sleeve shirt inserted to black pants and black belt, black shoe with black socks for boys and half sleeve shirt to black pants with coat, black shoe with black socks for girls is the college uniform. The stitched uniform will be provided by the college.
    • The college property and furniture should be handled with great care. Any loss or destruction to these will be chargeable individually or collectively as the case may be
    • Students shall endeavor to preserve cleanliness and order in classrooms, verandahs and college premises. Dislocating furniture, dirtying the surroundings and walls by throwing bits of paper and by markings or writings etc. is not expected from a student.
    • Books, mini drafter, calculator and all other personal belongings should bear the name of the owner. The college will not be responsible for the loss of money or any article from students.
